Dinner with a Copenhagener: The Silvers Experience

Dinner with a Copenhagener: The Silvers Experience

The Silvers hosts intimate dinners and Sunday gatherings in the homes of Copenhagen seniors aged 60 and above, people with decades of stories, craft, and life experience that most travel itineraries would never get you close to. Guests are invited into real homes and personal spaces across the city, a sustainable tiny house in Christiania, an art-filled apartment in Frederiksberg, a community collective in Roskilde.

Each evening brings five to eight guests together around a home-cooked meal, with conversation that tends to go somewhere real. Sustainability, creativity, identity, belonging, the themes shift with each host, but the format stays the same: good food, genuine people, and an evening that feels nothing like a tourist experience.

It's the kind of thing that pairs naturally with a day spent exploring the city on foot. Walk the highlights with us in the morning, then sit down to dinner with a local in the evening. Copenhagen, done properly.
